Kaltura Application Discussion
If you would like to record your class presentation in a video, you can use Kaltrura, Zoom and other video editing tools. To get Kaltura, in your website on Canvas, you can click My Media on the left list of tools (along with home gradebook, modules etc.). If you don't have 'My Media' button, you should go to Settings --> Navigation --> My Media (in the low tool box where inactive tools are kept) ---> Enable --> Save. Then My Media should appear on the left set of tools in your course. The following video shows how to launch and use Kaltura: https://learning.mediaspace. kaltura.com/media/1_rbj9as7v
I just emailed Disability Services about students who have extended time on exams. They have counseled these students to connect with individual faculty. As Disability Services will not be offering tests directly to the students during this time.
ReplyDeleteFaculty can extend the amount of time available for a test in Canvas on a per student basis.
Hope that helps.

Good to know, Jannifer. I have two students with such requests this semester. Thanks!
